For 2010, bookings are from Saturday to Saturday for up to 5 people.

For 2011, bookings are from Friday to Friday for up to 5 people.

·

Children are welcome, but we do not take pets.

·

The cottage is available from 3.00pm at the beginning of the holiday and we ask guests to leave by 10.30am on the final Saturday, to allow time for cleaning.

·

Booking deposit £50/week. This is non-returnable.

·

Payment of the full rental is due 6 weeks before the start of your holiday.

·

Electricity is charged extra, at cost. This is likely to be from about £10/week in summer to about £50/week in the coldest part of winter.

·

We retain the booking deposit as an advance payment for electricity and to cover any damage and breakages or excessive cleaning.

·

We ask guests to record the electricity meter readings at the start and end of the holiday on a meter-reading sheet. Coins are not needed for the electricity meter.

·

We then return the unused portion of the £50 deposit immediately we receive from our guests the completed electricity meter-reading sheet.

·

We do not normally provide sheets and towels but can do so, if requested in advance, for £3.90 per person per week.

·

For bookings made for the following year, we would be happy to refund your deposit if you wish to cancel your holiday, provided you let us know before the end of the year before the start of your holiday.

Please make cheques payable to Mrs. M.A. Mead. We regret we are not able to accept credit/debit cards.

Payment may be made by bank transfer.  Please ask for our bank details.

Payment may be made by PayPal, but there is an extra charge to cover PayPal costs:

3.4% if your payment in Stirling to PayPal is from your debit or credit card (no extra charge when you use your PayPal balance or your bank account linked to your PayPal account).

3.9% for your payments to PayPal outside the United Kingdom.
